Driver Service Agreement
Effective 1 November 2026 · Version 1.0
This agreement applies to riders and drivers ("you") who use the Blink driver app to accept delivery jobs from Exodia Labs Sdn Bhd ("Blink"). You accept it when you register as a driver. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice (including the driver location notice) also apply.
1. Your status
You are an independent contractor providing delivery services, not an employee of Blink. You decide when to go online, which jobs to accept and where to work within the service area. Nothing in this agreement creates employment, partnership or agency.
Blink recognises that drivers are gig workers under the Gig Workers Act 2025 and follows its requirements on written terms, transparent earnings, social security protection, and fair deactivation and dispute processes.
2. Eligibility and documents
- You must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driving licence for the vehicle class for more than 1 year.
- Your vehicle must be roadworthy, insured, have valid road tax and be no more than 15 years old.
- Cars carrying goods for hire need a valid PSV permit where required; vans and lorries need a valid GDL permit.
- You must pass identity verification, upload the requested documents, complete the Blink Academy training and keep your documents up to date. Jobs pause when a document expires.
- You need a Malaysian bank account in your own name for payouts.
3. Earnings
Before you accept a job, the app shows what you will earn for it. You earn 80% of the base trip fare (Blink keeps a 20% service commission), plus 100% of priority fees, waiting fees and tips.
You may also earn incentives such as quests, boosts and tier bonuses, on the conditions shown in the app when you join them.
Cancellation and no-show fees charged to a customer are shared with you when you were already on your way or at the pickup. Driver referrals: when a driver you invite completes 20 jobs within 60 days, you receive RM 100.00.
Your weekly statement shows every job, fee, incentive, deduction and payout.
4. Payouts
Earnings are held as pending for 24 hours after each job (the window for customer disputes and payment checks), then become available.
Daily claim: you can claim your available balance to your bank account once every 12 hours, from RM 10.00 and up to RM 1500.00 a day. You can also opt in to an automatic sweep every night at 23:30 (Malaysia time). Payouts are sent through our payment partner Curlec and normally reach your bank the same or next business day.
Instant cash-out, where offered, costs RM 1.00 per cash-out, from RM 20.00 and up to RM 1000.00 a day, and may be reviewed before it is paid.
Cash jobs: cash you collect for cash-on-delivery or cash fares is owed to Blink and is deducted from your earnings. If the cash you are holding reaches RM 500.00, you will not receive further cash jobs until it is settled.
Payouts may be held while a fraud, safety or chargeback review is open. We will tell you why and how long it is expected to take.
5. Deductions
We deduct from your earnings only:
- Blink's service commission;
- your PERKESO contribution under the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme (SKSPS), at 1.25% of your earnings, which Blink pays to PERKESO on your behalf so you are covered for work-related injuries;
- cash collected on cash jobs that is owed to Blink;
- cash-out fees you choose to incur; and
- amounts you agree to, or that are confirmed after a review (for example, a penalty for a proven breach or a shortfall in cash remitted).
Every deduction appears on your statement with its reason. You can dispute any deduction through driver support.
6. Standards of service
- Follow traffic laws, carry goods safely and never drive under the influence.
- Take proof of delivery at every drop-off and use delivery codes where required.
- Treat customers, recipients and their goods with care and respect; never use their contact details for anything except the job.
- Do not carry prohibited goods; refuse goods that look unsafe and report them.
- Keep your location on while online so customers can track you.
Quality signals: if your average rating falls below 4.2 (over at least 20 ratings), or you cancel too many accepted jobs (warning above 10%, a 30-minute pause above 20%, account review above 30% of accepted jobs over 30 days), we will contact you and may pause jobs while we review.
7. Suspension, deactivation and appeals
We may suspend or deactivate your account for serious or repeated breaches, such as fraud, theft, violence or harassment, unsafe driving, carrying prohibited goods, using another person's account, or expired documents.
Except where there is an immediate safety or fraud risk, we will warn you first and give you a chance to explain. When we suspend or deactivate you, we tell you in writing (in the app and by email or SMS) the reason, the evidence we relied on and how to appeal.
You can appeal within 14 days through driver support. A different team member from the one who made the decision reviews the appeal and we reply within 14 days. If the appeal succeeds, your account is restored. Earnings you have already made are paid out, less any amounts owed, even if your account is deactivated.
You can stop driving with Blink at any time and delete your account from the app.
8. Location and data
The driver app collects your GPS location while you are online or on a job, including in the background. Raw location is kept for 90 days and then reduced to anonymised road-speed statistics. Details are in our Privacy Notice.
9. Insurance and liability
You must hold valid motor insurance for your vehicle. You are responsible for loss or damage you cause through negligence or a breach of this agreement. Blink handles customer claims and may ask you for information; any amount we recover from you is limited to what is proven and is shown on your statement.
10. Changes, disputes and governing law
We will give you at least 7 days' notice in the app of changes to this agreement or to how earnings are calculated, except changes required by law. If you keep driving after the change takes effect, the new terms apply.
Raise any dispute first with driver support. This agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you keep any right you have to refer a dispute to the bodies established under the Gig Workers Act 2025.
